I've noticed something in the multi's I've played recently. Typical situation of having a made set vs what I'm sure is a draw. So I bet accordingly and give them incorrect odds to call. Often they do, and of course they'll hit it sometimes.
The flip side is that I'll try betting even more at other times to dissuade going for the draw, and they'll just fold.
I know this is pretty damn general, but I'll often bet 1/2 the pot, and have a call. If you're trying to protect a pot in these multi's is it more important to just bet high and if they don't call, fine, you're still winning chips?
A dicussion on this would certainly help me...

depends on what the tourney is. In you avg 20$ PS buyin tourney, you should just be trying to maximize EV, which means betting as much as they will call without giving them odds to draw.
