what is the typical sitting fee for a 20-40 or 30-60 game?

do most casinos rake the pot or just charge a fee?

thanks for any info.

The proper term is "collection" rather than "sitting fee". For $30-$60: At the Bellagio in Las Vegas its $5 per player each half-hour. At Commerce in Los Angeles it is $9 per player per half-hour. At other card rooms in Los Angeles it is $8 per half-hour. I was told at Canterbury Park in Minnesota, their $30-$60 game is a "rake game" where they take up to $4 out of each pot.

For $20-$40: In Las Vegas, it is a rake game. They rake up to a $3 maximum rake from each pot. In Los Angeles it is a collection game. At Commerce they collect $8 per player each half-hour. At Hollywood Park and other places around Los Angeles, they collect $7 per player each half-hour. In Tunica, Mississippi they rake a maximum of $3 from each pot for $20-$40. At the Soaring Eagle, they rake $4 maximum from each pot. At Oceans 11 in Oceanside, California near San Diego, they take $4 from the big blind bet and if there is no flop then the $4 is returned to the big blind.
