View Full Version : Pokerstars cards are NOT random

Playing on Pokerstars tonight 2-4 had pocket AA beat twice within an hour by flopped quads (5's and 6') Has anyone ever seen that happen before? Makes you wonder if the cards are random.

I been playing poker for a long time, and I've seen many stange events. If what you were saying were correct, there would be numerous posts like this from many, many players.

Can you post hand histories?

I thought half the posts on this forum were about how internet poker is fixed.

So, what should I be reading into your statement? /images/smile.gif

I will try to get them, I never had time to write them down since I was too busy banging my head off the wall.

I do have concerns about the tournaments on pokerstars.

Ive played online tournaments by the hundreds and live as well, my "in the money" % is in the low 40% across the board... paradise, pokerspot, pokerpages, a major live casino, UBet, even old IRC. But on pokerstars it is 4% after 50+ tournies.

The last 4 I played I was knocked out with AA, beaten by runner backdoor flushes or low meaningless 2pr's rivered. These were allin preflop or allin on flop hitting an Ace for a set, and completely dominated hands a mile behind, which somehow pulled out a win headsup.

I've also seem so many similar weak trash hands come from behind headsup allin it boggles the mind.

I've reach the point where I think MY NICK is targeted for destruction by the server, literally. I was doing very very well on PStars and then noticed some very fishy stuff, complained, hand histories, etc about collusion, and realy felt there were and are HOUSE players with knowledge of the cards to come. Right after my complaints, I literaly could not win a hand, and AA lost and put me out of every PL and NL tourny I played.

I am a solid knowledgable tourny player, I've played with people like Greg Raymer live and online, and have as I said good results in the 40% range for making the money....including 393 paradise one table tournaments. I play the hands the way they have to be played, Ive read TJ's books, S+M....looking forward to getting the Tourny book...and upon review cant find any other way to play the hands, like AA, that would come up with a positive result.

I see 3 groups of layers on PStars who seem to work together....Oslo, Akron, and Blackpool....many of whom have now changed thier "city" designations as it became too obvious with all of them from the same place.

One hilarious T hand had an Oslo mob member in the bigblind, and another player in midpos going allin preflop with AA for 1/2 O-MM's stack. O-MM called with 47o, flopped a 4 and rivered a 7 to win. I cannot see anyway without knowing the 4 and 7 were coming that he would make that call. No logical explanation fits other than knowing the cards to come. Not even "figuring a blind steal" would result in 1/2 your stack defending with 47o, no way.

I will be coming back into PStars as a totally different person/identity so I can test my hypothesis, new everything....IPaddr, MacAddr, name, addr, email, etc. If I amazingly start placing more realistically in the tournaments, I'll have my answer.

Just a few thoughts. -The Phantom

Why put another penny into a site you suspect of cheating in that way?

Why not just leave, make your complaints and never return?

Huh?

I have to ask this. If you place in the money at tourneys 40% of the time yet you only place 4% on pokerstars could it perhaps be because pokerstars tournaments typically have over 100 people whereas the other poker sites only have 10? Seems like the math works out.

I just think you're a raving looney and a moron to boot

The live tourny's I've played in...109 of them ranging from 65 to 110 usually, and 400+ occasionally are well over 10. The online sites other than paradise are all between 50 and 300 players.

No Pokerstars results are either an extreme run of bad luck, or my nickname is targeted for destruction by the server.

Ill go in as a new identity and try to verify that it isnt the most horrendous run of bad luck I've ever heard of.

Even on Pokerstars I was doing fine, in the opening period before thier big $15,000 freeroll I played 2 $1 tournies over 200 players (2nd and 5th) and played 3 $10 satelites for the 15K entry (1st, 4th, 9th).

After the 15K tournament I noticed some VERY FISHY SHIT, reported it, and discussed my suspicions live in chat on PStars. From that point on I literally couldnt win a hand. In every tourny I would get AA or KK or AK, the flop would be perfect, Im allin or big bet, and the headsup opponent with a VASTLY inferior hand or draw would win on the river....53 of 55 times.

Take it for what it is, ignore me, believe, I dont care, Im just passing on my experience as food for thought.

I posted because I'd love to hear Mason's thoughts on the likelyhood of such a bad run on ONE site, while continued placing well elsewhere.

If they are so sneaky and evil as to target you thusly, why in the world do you think they would target your username instead of your IP address? Or maybe whatever method you use to fund an account somehow? I am sure they are aware you could create a new username.

Obviously they are incedibily intelligent, as they managed to code vengence dealing bad-beat capability into their software. Why do you think they would let you escape so easily?

Since they are all money-laundering terrorist drug dealers, maybe you shouldn't try to fool them. They may put you on the black-ball list for all online sites and you will be toast everywhere.

I don't see why you should limit your conspiracy theories so. You may as well run with it.

Good luck,
