5 handed home tourney. Starting stack T1500. I'm UTG with about 1300 left. I pick up AQ of diamonds. I bet out 180 (big blind is 60 at the time). Button calls (hes the chip leader) and the blinds both fold. Flop comes Q 8 3 rainbow. I bet out 240. Button calls. Turn is a blank (a 5 i believe) I push. He calls turns up Q8 offsuit.
Looking back at it, perhaps I should have been a bit more concerned about his call of my bet after the flop, but how do you defend against this sort of thing?
