Trying to move up in limits. Been going well overall but had a bit of a rough night yesterday. This hand is recreated from Pacific 2/4 last night. Villian seems a bit loose PF but appears solid postflop. This is based on a small sample size, however.

Hero gets A /images/graemlins/club.gif K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif on the Button.
2 folds, villian limps, 4 folds, hero raises, sb calls, bb calls, villian 3-bets, hero calls, sb calls, bb calls

flop is J /images/graemlins/spade.gif A /images/graemlins/heart.gif 10 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

SB checks, BB checks, villian bets, hero raises, sb folds, bb folds, villian 3-bets, hero calls

Turn is 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Villlian bets, hero calls

River is 3 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
Villian bets, hero calls

I felt I needed to play the hand out as a queen gave me the straight and there was a chance I might have been ahead. Although his 3-bet on the flop made that small given my tight table image. Thoughts appreciated.

I would play it exactly the same way without a more precise read on the villian.
