Just arrived one orbit ago, table seems loose-wild.

Is there an option to bet more money than you have infront of you? If so go for that. Otherwise, just go all in, or as close as your opponents stack size will allow.

In different games, with different stack sizes, this is a fold.

If I read this right, you are getting over 3 to 1 at the point where you have a call/fold decision. I think you are getting the more than the right price to call since there is a good chance that he has an over pair. If he has the unlikely straight, you have outs. I would call. Your $40 reraise committed you to the pot.

What I feared more than a straight was an overset, where I invest my stack while drawing very thin.
I agree, at this point I was to near to the felt to let it go.
Was my raise too big and too committing?

The fact that it is the BB makes me want to call far more than if it were any other position playing back at me. I expect to be shown two here pair FAR more times than either the straight or an overset.
