Hello all,
I'm considering creating a dinky little poker strategy/blog/bonus code website, but nearly all of the cheap hosting options strictly prohibit "gambling related" websites. My website would only offer stories and strategy, not actual gambling, although it would have banners to other sites that do in fact accept your money to gamble with.
Is there anyone out there who knows about cheap gambling-strategy-friendly webhosting?

Godaddy.com has some pretty good cheap plans.

But stay the hell away from hostdepartment.com.

i second doggy and wanted to add that i had utilized their tech help very heavily before jek joined me with isop and became my new, personal tech support guy.

during the times that godaddy gave me all that tech support (which was free and amazingly fast and efficent), they were contantly clicking on my site, which is nothing but gambling. not only did they never say a word, but i actually got a party sign-up out of one of the tech guys. the hosting is cheap (sounds like the $3.95/mo plan is all you need), and you get a boatload of free stuff once you open any kind of hosting account.

even with me having the cheapest hosting account at the time (have since upgraded), they still gave me absolutely incredible support.

i can't tell you how happy i am with godaddy and would think it is the ideal site for not only technical spazz's like myself, but even for people who know what they are doing.

I work for a web design company and we use Crystal Tech (http://www.crystaltech.com), they're reliable.

I've also used Discount ASP (http://www.discountasp.net) and they're also reliable.

I've bought plenty of domains from GoDaddy but haven't used their hosting but I'm sure it can't be all that bad.

If you have some time go to Web Hosting Talk (http://www.webhostingtalk.com) and do a search for the companies you're considering.

I use www.5dollarhosting.com (http://www.5dollarhosting.com) for my site. No complaints.
