This is a purely hypothetical situation. Resulted from an argument between me and my friend.

You are playing a 100 BB game.
9-handed, you have no reads on any players except there are no fishy players.

Hero is on the button with 6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 limps, MP2 folds, MP3 limps, CO folds, Hero limps, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif7 /images/graemlins/club.gifA /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
SB checks, BB bets 4 BB, MP1 folds, MP3 raises to 12 BB, Hero...?

Now what if the Ace was a club instead of the 6?
Or if this was rainbow?
Also, explain how you would play depending on the following flop action from BB and MP1.

My opinion will come in a later post.

I would be much more likely to go to the felt with this hand in a raised pot where your opponents hands are defined. MP2 could be pushing his Ax clubs, which you're not really much of a favourite against, and who knows what BB has. Could be a set, or 89, or Axo.

Barring reads I would lay this down and not even think about it. Do not go broke in an unraised pot.
