Snowboarding, here I come.

I for one am breaking out the emergency rations and preparing for the inevitable looting that will ensue. Ten inches of snow. Catastrophe!

EVERYONE PANIC! IT"S GONNA SNOW!

Soon the newscasts will be overrun by junior reporters proclaiming that it is, in fact, SNOWING in Newton, MA. This will be followed by other junior reporters reporting that, contrary to internet rumors, it is, indeed SNOWING in Worcester as well, and that the bodies are piling up only to be brushed aside by the under-funded, over-worked, GPS-monitored plow operators.

Hide your kids and shoot your neighbors! This is the BIG ONE! This is NOR'EASTER '05!

We now return to our regularly scheduled inane banter.

It could snow on both NFL Championship games. New England and Philly will benefit.

It was in the 70's in Denver yesterday - it's warm out today too, but I don't know how warm it is right now.

East Coast? This is a Midwest Snow Storm that will probably drift over to the East Coast.

That's okay. This New England Nor'Easter will defeat the midwest storm 20-3 as well.

I'm seriously considering walking over to Paragon to buy a sled and going sledding in Prospect Park tomorrow.

By the way, Bears fan here, they've been out for a long time, not much pride in them lately. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

This sucks, it's gonna turn the NFC championship game (and I guess AFC too, but who cares about that) into more of a crapshoot.

I think the storm will be ended by Noon Sunday for the most part in Pennsylvania. The first game (Philly) starts at 3pm Sunday

It has now officially started snowing hard. I'm a little NE of Poughkeepsie, NY. My place is out in the woods with a long driveway, so I'll be stuck in until it stops and I have someone clear it. I'm ready for it--I think. This time last year I was in sunny Arizona!

That radar map on your post is constantly updated with the latest image. I just check this thread to get the latest radar loop. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Don't see how it benefits NE. The Steelers are a running team that passes if necesary while the Patriots are simply a balanced team. Both play in cold weather and snow often. I think it's a push, but if it benefits one more than the other I would say the Steelers (but again very slightly).

of course you would say that! but why? you just said they were predominantly a running team. how is snow good for that?

Damn it. I can't go to the gym because there's a two-foot-high snowbank between my car and the street, and I'm too lazy to shovel it away.
