You have to tell us something about MP1. I can see the fold, but only against the right player.

Where's the read? With no read, I call down.

A bit loose in general, 25/7 preflop.

I think a fold from someone betting into the raiser is the right play.

This PF limp is a little loose, no? I usually muck that.

with 5 limpers and position, you don't think you can turn a nice profit with K5s?

Thats like the first time anyone ever has described me as being loose, I'm so proud. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The reason to play K5s with limpers and position is that you get paid off when the flush hits.

As important, you're smart enough to dump the hand if you hit a lone K. The flop raise is a cheap way to test his hand, when he bets into you again on the turn you have to assume K no kicker is no goood.

I dont think he has KQ,7,K9,99,77,KK,JT, so a 5 will give you a winner here. A nine or seven will probably give you a split 1/2-1/3 of the time and you are probably ahead 5-10%.

So I call.

Without a read, I will probably call the river aswell as he know your hand isnīt great when you just call the turn and given that you limped before the flop, so he may decide to bet J9,T9 or whatever again.

A nice profit? I don't know. This seems marginal to me at best. In the Party $5/10 game I would want to know that the button and blinds are also pretty passive.

Very occasionally you'll be folding the winner here because someone hits their AQ on the turn and thinks it's well cool. If you're brave you could raise the turn but with no reads I think the fold is OK.

I'd want a showdown for my information however.

9 to a flop?? If this was the norm, I wouldn't sweat this fold at all. Bring on the next hand!!

9 to the flop is why it's a good call.

9 to the flop is sadly very much not the norm.

I think PatJ is right; without a strong flush draw the paired K is mostly trouble. I think its -EV to call down when you're getting action like this.

Take your shot and be ready to walk away with less than 2 pair.
