I think therefore I am. This is one of the greatest one liners in history. As for paradise, they didn't think.... moreover they copied the thinkings of others and used it for their capitilistic indignities. They didn't "think" and therefore, they are not... Just food for thought.

They have copied several features from other sites, but they usually end up doing it better. I wonder when they will start offering multi-table tournaments?

But bottomline, they are making a ton of money. What they are doing, copying, is a technique that over the years has made a lot of people very rich. I you don't believe me, then ask Bill Gates because that is exactly how he built his empire.

Foley,

I guess you have not been around online poker for the past 2 years. Look at the Lobby and layout of every single site out there as they are all ripp-offs of what Paradise did in the beginning. The layout, the avg pot, the flop% etc. are all rip-offs. Paradise was also the first site to offer all the games (not just Hold'em).

The actual first of the first was Planet of course, but unfortunately they have no kept up with the pace, and they have even ripped-off the Paradise lobby.

Part of successful capitalism is seeing what competitors are doing and what clients want and then making the best product possible.

Now if only they would all copy each other with a lower rake /images/smile.gif

I could be wrong on this one, this is all just from my own observations, but I believe at one point the owners of Planet Poker(whomever they are?) actually started 3 on-line casinos, Casino Coco, Planet Poker and Diamond Casino. Well, at least they all had *identical* software except for different avatars, colours and name. From what I can tell, Planet became the most popular of the three and hence the other two casinos were eventually just dropped. It's interesting to note that players chose one site over the other not for reasons like special software features (all identical), but rather just because they liked the colors and theme more. I'm not sure if I had a point to all this, just thought I would share what I find to be interesting info.
