$5/10 Empire

Table is fairly loose and people are fishing all over the place which is why I shyed away from betting this hand. Comments appreciated on all fronts.

Hero is Button with K K, it gets capped 5 ways.

Flop Q 8 3 rainbow

A Check, B check, C bet, D raise, I 3 bet, A fold, B call, C call, D Caps, I call, B calls, C calls.

whats going on?

Turn 5, putting 2 clubs on the board, for a board of...
Q 8 3 5

B checks, C checks, D bets, I call, B folds, C calls.
( I feel like I maybe should have raised here, but he capped on the flop confusing me.?)

River 9, no flushes, Final Board...
Q 9 8 5 3

C Checks, D Bets, I call, C Folds

I take pot, D shows A Q. Did I give him too much credit for having a better hand???, therefore should I have capitalized on the situation and gotten more money out of it??? I am fairly new to limit so any and all comments are appreciated. Thanks Guys!

Keep in mind you only have one pair and your opposition has shown substantial strength. It's too easy to be up against AA, QQ, or a flopped set.

Unless there is something key in the way your opponents play that you left out of your post, I see no problem with shutting down on the turn.
