BB is somewhat decent, a little aggressive. button is a big fat fishy.

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG raises, Button calls, Hero calls, BB 3-bets, UTG calls, Button calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 3/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG folds, Button calls, Hero raises, BB calls, Button calls.

i should have bet out on the flop, but given that i didn't i decided to checkraise instead.

Turn: (9 BB) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)

River: (15 BB) 4/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)

Check-call. Folding is out of the question with the pot so big now.

Simply out of curiosity, what about the unlikely possibilty of hero facing two cold on the river. Still call?

I'd bet. the BB has an overpair, and from your description of the button he could have a wide range of hands

I'd consider betting if the board didn't contain 2345, but the big fishy button could easily have called to the river with an ace.

You're behind to a straight or a flush. Or both /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I would check-call due to the grave danger. No flush or straight is folding, and you aren't going to either.
