It certainly looks like CO is playing a set of 7s. I don't think you gain anything by 3-betting and the pot is too big to fold. I think it's an easy call, but I expect to be 2nd best here. If I call and it's capped back to me, I might consider a fold if I had a good read.

I'd call. CO probably has a set. I can't imagine he'd raise the river 2 pair, since his 2 pair isn't aces up. MP3 probably has a worse aces up or AQ. I wouldn't expect to win this too much, but maybe that's just seeing monsters under the bed.

as Nate tha Great once wrote, "sets just don't happen that much in hold'em." he'll easily defy logic often enough to make calling or maybe even 3-betting profitable. the next time you play, count the number of times that you're pretty sure someone has a set, and see how often they do. it's probably a lot less than you think
