I'm about to buy a new laptop and of course concern number one is 4-tabling w/o overlap leading me to a UXGA display.

Does anyone have experience with the usability of this resolution on a ~15" screen. Limit this strictly to poker as I would definately decrease the resolution during nomral use.

The one I'm specifically looking at is Dell's 15.4" WUXGA (1920x1200) Inspiron. They have a 17" but I'm hesitant to spend the extra cash if it's not needed for 4-tabling.

i have it. fonts are probably too small for regular use. since default resolution is 1920x1200, if u change it to anything else, it'll become fuzzy. probably should go for 17" one since i don't have that one, but i figure screen will be bigger.

btw, fyi, they have a $500 off for dell laptop deal going on right now...

Kindly,

I have a dell 8500 with the 15.4" widescreen and it works perfectly for 4 tabling. I can 4 table with no overlap and I also have room on the right hand side for some extra things like IM. Highly recommend!
