I find the situations with monotone boards to be difficult, because people will often play aggressively with just a flush draw -- especially heads up.

In this case though, I might have gone MUCH too far. I'd like some advice on just how out of line I was, and what I need to do to keep my aggression going but not out of line.

If your play is out of line in this hand, then it's a mistake I'm making too, since I probably would've played it the same way.

I like the flop raise, however, after he pulls a stop and go on the turn, i'm calling down.

Since you decided to raise the turn, I think you need to fold to the 3-bet.

That turn raise doesn't accomplish a whole lot. After he stop and goes I'd just call down and bet a river diamond if he checks to you.

Are you that convinced BB flopped a big flush? I'm thinking that, if he didn't, Hero's flush outs very well could be good, even if we can be certain he's behind.

You could be right about calling down, though. Lately it seems that I pick the wrong times both to slow down and to keep raising.

If I had to put the other guy on a hand it would be a set.
