I was wondering what the general advice is on when to end a session of play. Say you buy in for the standard 30BB, and lose it all, do you stop there or buy in again. On the flip side, if you are doing well, at what point do you get up and walk away? Would love input on this, thanks very much

get up when you feel you no longer have an edge. but wait until you're utg.

depends. if the table is juicy and I just got sucked out on a few major hands then I might rebuy. But if there's no clear reason for losing I'm gone.

Flip side, I don't leave a table I'm profitable at without a good reason.

They include:
starting to lose
to tired to think straight (still need one above for this one)
a hot woman wants it bad from me /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
any woman wants it /images/graemlins/grin.gif
I've been there so long I start to stink so bad the floor kicks me out

In the end, isn't is all just one long session? (In other words, it doesn't matter if you are running good or bad when you leave a table)

Leave when all the shitty players who were basically pushing their chips across the table and into your stack get up because they've busted.

That's what Sklansky says near the beginning of TOP. Leave only when the game gets too tough, or for personal reasons (hot chick, e.g.) and just think of it all as one long session.
