Villain has VPIP 65% and PFR 20%, typical 6-max LAG.
What do you think of my line ?

The only thing that makes sense to me is the villain has a set. He can't think you're betting that aggressively with just top pair. He didn't raise preflop with makes Kings doubtful. I'm guessing a set of 4s.

Of course he could be an idiot and he was betting on an inside straight draw (which he made on the turn?). Though that seems unlikely.

I didn't like the likely set either, but his stats and previous play got me to believe he might've been pushing AK or KQ around strong.

I would make a pot sized bet on the turn here, which would force UTG to make a tough decision....Given that he has put in a raise here, I would push the turn....You aren't going to fold for the rest of his chips on the river, so make your move on the turn!

does he limp in with AK, KQ often?

personally, I think K4 is more likely. I would push the turn, given the flop action.

You have to bet the pot on flop because you want to get all his money right there (if he calls/raise he most likely have K weak kicker and are ready to go all the way 65/20 cs right?) but it's not going to happen if you min bet 1st. Bet the pot and take it from there. If he folds fine, it happens all the time since you are aggressive but if he has something to call/raise you are likely a big favorite and you want to see all his money in the pot before the river. If he has a set there's nothing you can do but being glad that you have 65/20 player in your table.

Your flop is fine. I probably push to his reraise on the turn.

I've been playing more aggressive lately and his flop bet makes him look weak so he could be getting played back at with K Q right here and it is causing confusion. Also, if he bets the pot right there and he gets raised back, depending on the player, you could get a better read on him. MIght be able to put him on a set from that read. A player can do all kinds of things with a minimum bet. He could have 5 6 and be trying to take the pot right there thinking you have 8's and will most likely fold. I'm going with 5 6.

So what did he have ?

He had K9 and I took it down.
Other players that had been at the table longer than me didn't seem surprised at all.

Thanks a lot for the replies ! Cheers

Against the typical crappy player here a weaker king or a weaker two pair is the norm, I think. They don't understand the concepts of kickers and position. I definitely think pushing the turn is the best play, though. You almost lost the rest of his stack on the river. Most people won't push there.
