This 6max table had broken up, leaving me heads up with this uberlag. His vpip was 80 and pfr 43 over about 100 hands, so there's no way I'm leaving. He also showed a tendency to fold when played back at. Anyways, here's a hand I thought was interesting.

Party Poker 100NL 6max

Hero ($88)
Uberlag ($133)

Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif

Uberlag raises to $8 (his usual pf raise). I call.

Flop: 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4 /images/graemlins/club.gif

Uberlag bets $20, I push.

don't lags play laggy and fold to aggression so that they get paid off when they do have a hand?

since you have position, wouldn't it be easier to reraise preflop if you wanted to test him?

Aren't those stats roughly optimal for HU play?

Yeah, but won't I extract more out of him knowing he'll bet ANY flop?

We had been HU for about 5 hands.. those stats were for full table (6max)

well, do you extract enough out of him to counter the 1 time he busts you?

Maybe I should mention he reloaded 3 times over this 100 hands..

if he is so weak to your reraises, then obviously its a good play.

the whole point is does he laydown a 7 here.

I don't play heads up NL that much, but I don't like the call pre flop and I don't like the push. You called away a tenth of your stack with Q6 suited?

If he's willing to bet out with absolutely nothing, you could probably get more out of him. As it is now, you have no idea what he has, so you push, even though you have position for the rest of the hand. I guess most of the deck hurts you, so you want to get out any potential draws. Still, your bet is unlikely to fold any hand that beats you except maybe K6 and A6, or a weak 7. The LAG may think you are on a draw and could call with any 7 here.

I like it. I'm not sure you should always call w/ Q6 when raised heads up, but if you don't play it a fair amount you're giving up way too much.

I like the push too. There's a very good chance you're well ahead, but your hand is very vulnerable and you may be pushed off the best hand on the turn if you don't protect your hand now. Given your stack size and the pot size, you pretty much have to push in order to protect your hand.

Well he called with an OESD 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Result is irrelevant.

That's an OESD + over + back door nuts flush draw.

Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing 4c 7d 6d

Ad 5h 401 40.51 569 57.47 20 2.02 0.415

THIS is an OESD:
