Is this play acceptable against a player who is 52/12/2.21??

Hero bets, UTG folds, MP2 calls, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, MP2 folds, Button caps, Hero calls.

Turn: (8.75 BB) A/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)

I'd fold preflop. Other than that I think I play it the same. I don't usually want to 3-bet with TPsketchyK but it'd be nice to get MP2 out of there.

I realize that K9 is not a great hand, but with his PFR standards so low, I felt like seeing the flop from the BB was worth a shot.

Is this correct?

The thing is, it's not like it was folded to the button and so he might be trying to steal. He raised two limpers, and his PFR is 12%, which is high but not ludicrous. This suggests he has at least something reasonable.

K9o is highly subject to domination, plus it doesn't play well multiway. Hell, you might even be dominated by one of the limpers with KJ or something. Plus, you're out of position. I think a fold is in order.

What kind of players are the limpers?

If the LAG was stealing this would be fine, but with two others already in I'm not loving K9.
