I am fairly new to table but villain seemed LAG the couple hands I saw him play. He had bluff raised the turn and river with nothing in both hands. Later clocked him at 43/26

I think I'd cap the turn. If LAG leads the river, then call.

I don't think the 2 is really a scare card. I tend toward capping the turn.

I agree, but not knowing he was a nutball 4x/2x at the time I think this is ok too.

I think you played it fine, I would have done the same.

I think he has 99. I'd play it the same.

Also, if he has 9's take a note cause he's good.

I have the utmost respect for your posts Evan but this one has me puzzled. Are you joking? Why wouldn't you 3 bet the flop with 99?

In this case it looks like the Maniac was showing his true colors. He flipped over A4o and MHIG.

Thanx

I was expecting A9. I gave him too much credit.

The line this guy took--bet-call, bet-3 bet--is a good line with a set when you're out of position against a preflop aggressor that you know to be aggressive postflop.

sfer pulled that line against me in a 10/20 game at the Borgata.
