I'd like opinions/comments on the following.

1. Championship Poker by McEvoy and Coutier

2. Play Poker Like the Pros by Phil Hellmuth, Jr.

3. Super System by Doyle Brunson

4. Poker Wisdom of a Champion by Doyle Brunson

5. Bad Beats and Lucky Draws by Phil Hellmuth, Jr.

I have: HPFAP by Sklansky and Malmuth, Hold'em Poker by Sklansky, Small Stakes Hold'em by Sklansky, Middle Limit Hold'em Poker by Ciaffone and Brier and, Winning Low Limit Poker by Lee Jones.

What are some others I should read if I want to play mid-limit to no- limit? I didn't see any books at my local bookstore on mid-limit or no-limit.

Thanks,
JB

Worth a read but I wouldn't purchase it.

2. Play Poker Like the Pros by Phil Hellmuth, Jr.

Limit section is horrible. The rest of the book is ok for somebody just learning the games but is certainly not an advanced book.

3. Super System by Doyle Brunson

Parts of the book are outdated but other parts are very relevent. Probably should be read for its historical value alone.

4. Poker Wisdom of a Champion by Doyle Brunson

Won't do much for your game but it's a very enjoyable read.

5. Bad Beats and Lucky Draws by Phil Hellmuth, Jr.

I had a good time reading this book but a lot of people seemd to not find it as interesting as I did...
