Instead of giving out the MVP, lets give out the award to the player we are most thankful to, our favorite reliever Byung-Hyun Kim. Without him, this would have been a ho hum 5 game series and none of us would have so much fun picking on and questioning Brenly, we wouldn't have seen the drama of a 7th game of Clemens-Schilling where it looked like another Yankee miracle (how the hell did Soriano get that bad pitch?), and most of all we wouldn't have seen Rivera actually lose on. Simply incredible. All the DBacks did to overwhelm the Yankees and it took an improbable rally to win. Guess this just gives all the more credence to the theory of only watching baseball in the postseason.

Regular season baseball absolutely sucks from the fans perspective.. And this series has probably ruined the next few postseasons as well...

But man, what a series..

Any thoughts on the splitting of the MVP??..

I don't follow much baseball, has this happened before??.. Is it normal?..

I say Schilling for President

.....you beat the best (Rivera), you become the best. Most lop-sided 7 game series since 1960 - in this case though, the better team won. Kudos to snakes - Brenly gets major reprieve because his team rallied improbably against the best closer in world series history. How would he have been viewed had Rivera set Ariz down 1-2-3 in the 9th? We'll never know and lucky for him. Congrats to D-backs!
