Subject: Churches in Las Vegas!

There are more churches in Las Vegas than Casinos. During Sunday services at the Offertory, some worshipers contribute Casino Chips as opposed to cash. Some are sharing their winnings, some are hoping to win. But since there are so many Casinos, the Catholic churches send
all the chips into the diocese for sorting. Once sorted for the respective casinos the chips come from, a junior priest returns them to the appropriate casinos and cashed them in.

This priest is - - of course - - known as "The Chip Monk".

Sheer genius. I'm envisioning a "Real Men of Genius" song for this guy.

So did Budwesier pussy out on their "Real American Heroes" campaign after 9/11 and switch to Real Men of Genius? Because the the RMOG ads havn't been as funny as the RAH ads.

for real?

I don't know what to think of this. The church doesn't seem to have a problem with parishners bringing in casino chips and praying for lucky wins. maybe they like the dough......

Maybe churches just aren't as 'bad' as you imagine them to be.
