Button is very loose and seems passive (over 50vpip)
MP1 is semi loose preflop and raises preflop too much (small # of hands)

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

MP2 ($97.05)
MP3 ($114.45)
Hero ($72.14)
Button ($49)
SB ($63.1)
BB ($24)
UTG ($16.3)
UTG+1 ($66.6)
MP1 ($181.3)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/spade.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.5.
UTG calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $12</font>, Button calls $12, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG folds, MP1 calls $8.

Flop: ($38.50) T/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $20</font>

Is this a good amount to bet here?

I like it..is the villain pretty passive postflop? Either way, it's a good bet to see where you're at and to maybe take it down right there.

didnt have much of a postflop read. my intentions were to take it down right there or, if called, be essentially done with the hand.

I think only AA KK QQ JJ TT will call u here preflop and all beat your hand, post flop u should push if u want them fold, betting 20 can't drive out JJ QQ and it make u already pot commit so better push

You don't think JT and T9 would call here? I think this bet is fine. He is protecting against a potential straight draw and it is big enough that an underpair will not auto-call.
