I am thinking about opening another poker account on a different site. I currently play on Party, but I am looking for another site to use. Which would be the best one(in terms of bonuses, # of fish, blind structure, etc...)? Is Pokerstars the best option? I've heard people saying a lot of good things about them, but I just wanted to see what you guys thought.
Thanks,
Jah

Hi,

I also have the same problem than you. But it looks like you heard some good things about pokerstars?? What did you hear about them and where (I'd like to go and chek what people say about them)?

Thanks for your answer

I personally like UB the most of all I've tried. 6-seat SnGs are the way to go.

I play on Party, PS, and UB (and used to play paradise). PS has the nicest software, most stabile server, and by far the best customer service. PS also has a lot of bonuses. That being said there are WAY more suckers on Party than PS. Also, the Party bonuses are much easier to clear than PS or UB. I would say UB is intermediate between Party and PS for most measures. Also, Party has somewhat higher rake than other sites for most games (but not SnGs). For some reason I like the SnGs at UB best. For me the percentage of maniacs to overly tight players is just right (in the $10 to $30 game range is my experience) and blind structure is just fast enough for me. Unfortunately, while u do get `ultimate points' for playing SnGs, those points do not count toward clearing bonus dollars.

I agree. I play on PP and UB. For all I've heard about UB being incredibly tight compared to Party, this hasn't been my personal experience at all. I would estimate Party to be a little looser but not to the extreme that you hear people talk about on this forum.

I'm interested in this too. I'm trying to find a table along the following format:

+-------+----------+------------------------------+------+
|Casino | NoChips | Blind Structure |Fishy?|
+-------+----------+------------------------------+------+
together with the tournament fees.
I'll add a line from my current a/c

CryptoLogic Start=1000 Chips
Blinds=15,15/30,25/50/,50/100,100/200,200/400,500/1000
Blinds up every 10 hands
Buy-ins: $5+1, $10+1, $20+2, $30+3, $50+5 plus some higher (sorry I never look that high!)
Also the same in sterling and euros. PL, NL and Limit.
Quite fishy.

I have been playing on Absolute Poker too, they have a good structure, hand histories and stats are worthless though, start with 1500 in chips and horrible players.

I like Party for the $20 SnGs, and UB too. UB can be a little slow slow paced though.

I have played on party, empire, pokerstars, pacific, fulltilt, and ultimatebet, and currently/recently for the past few months i have been strictly playing on empire and stars. stars is by far my favorite when it comes to software/stability/service but its impossible for me to stay away from pp/empire with the amount of fish. I play empire for 25$ and 50$ NL ring (2-4 tabling) and 10-30$ two table SNG's. pokerstars is by far and away the best site for MTT's, where i play 5$ rebuys up to 20$ freezeouts. the competition on stars seems to be much harder especially in ring games. im not a huge fan of their SnG's, the payouts are kind of weird and even the amount of entrants is unusual. I dislike 1500 starting chips for SnG's as well. so for me, ring/sng on empire, mtt on stars. forget the rest /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Party dosnt let you clear bonuses playing SNGs. Pokerstars does.
