easy newbie questions... step 5, and the bubble?

I read in another thread about a "step 5" tournament. What's that? What kind of steps are we talking about?

What's the bubble?

party poker has a series of "step" tournaments. the payouts for the first 4 steps are seats into other steps, and step 5 is the first (and only) that pays cash.

the bubble refers to the time just before you're guaranteed to receive some payout. for example, in a party 10+1, the payouts are 50 for 1st, 30 for 2nd, and 20 for 3rd. when there are 4 people left, that's the bubble.
