Those are very solid ratings for cable TV. Better than the WSOP did, from what I remember.

At least the article didn't mention the rampant cheating in the show. Or 12-year-old girls who carry $7,000 around in cash.

The WSOP Main Event Finale had 2.8 million viewers. That's only 0.4 million viewers up on Tilt which is not too shabby. I personally think the show has some potential, just give the characters & plot some time to develop. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Tilt has potential although where it's headed is fairly vague (except everyone wants a piece of the Matador) so it could suck hardcore or be quite entertaining.

Also, if anyone saw Playmakers last year, it's not surprising at all that poker is depicted in the light it has been so far in Tilt. I can't wait until we find out that the Matador does crack in between sessions.

We'll see how well it really fares in the next couple of weeks

I think a lot of those viewers may have watched it for the same reason my wife and I watched it...to see the train wreck. Try as hard as we could, we just couldn't look away. It was SO bad that it kept our attention the entire time, but I doubt we watch it again.

Oh man, I watched every XFL game. Even had an XFL fantasy team.

Not joking, I have a real bad gambling problem. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
