Thanks to The Dude.

It was good [censored].

I finally realize that Theodore Donald Krivatsos is not a 2+2'ers real name.

That is all.

Yeah, I still haven't seen it. I keep meaning too. I rented it a little while back when I was drunk but I didn't have time to watch it, and ended up getting charged a late fee for it and still didn't get to watch it.

although it seems that that is just the 2+2er, the name from the movie appears to be Theodore Donald Karabotsos

now watch it once a month. every time you'll notice something new, connections in the grammar and diction between Maude and the dude after they speak, Walter has ten or more of his own specific themes, am i wrong? yeah, but... "also, dude, let's not forget, keeping an amphibious... mammal within the... city limits for domestic... purposes... that ain't legal either."
the part by part destruction of the dude's car, lines that you don't get until you pay careful attention to the background... the cop pulling roaches out of the Dude's ashtryy as they're getting his statment... ralphs...

my favroite thing about the movie is how absoutly perfectly matched the actors and their parts are. the best cohen bros movie bar none, imo. even though fargo and oh brother got more awards and good press...

I saw it once this summer at the red hook brewery's outdoor cinema. the crowd is normally about 500-1000, but 3k showed up for lebowski. it's already a cult classic.

"Fair!? Who's the fukin nihilist here!?"

I am a dork for renting it at about 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of buying. /images/graemlins/frown.gif (and no I don't want the used copy, Blockbuster)

you can get it off of amazon or half.com pretty cheap if you decide you'd like to purchase it

We used to watch it all the time. But when we watched we had to drink a white russian whenever The Dude did. I forget how many he drinks in the movie (nine?) but it was good times.

You were not alone on this, but this summer, I watched it again and liked it. I think it's one of those movies that depends on who you are with and the mood you are in.

The first time I saw it, I was amazed that anyone thought it was good, but the second time, I had several belly-laughs.

Same thing for Raising Arizona. Depends on if you watch with an avid fan.

If he was a lazy man, and the Dude was most certainly that. Quite possibly the laziest in Los Angeles county, which would place him high in the running for laziest worldwide.
