Here's a hand where I do something I've been meaning to do more often.

Reads:
MP1 is a pretty aggressive player, slightly loose, reasonable postflop.
MP2 is a donator.

Paradise Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 raises, MP2 calls, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, Hero 3-bets, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, CO calls, SB calls.

Flop: (19 SB) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (6 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 folds, MP1 raises, MP2 calls, CO folds, SB folds, Hero calls.

He could raise an overpair, top pair, or a flush draw here. I call planning to c/r any non-crub turn.

Turn: (12.50 BB) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, MP2 calls, Hero raises, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

It's a Swiss fucking watch!

River: (18.50 BB) 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 21.50 BB

Is this standard?

Very nice!

Your plan is fuc[/i]king ingenious, if I understand it correctly.

It's so simple, that's the beauty of it.

Nice hand. Sure sucks when the turn gets checked through (damn the free card play!), but I really like your line of thought.

I planned to c/r a non-scary turn. Figuring that MP2 is calling either way and knowing from my read on MP1 that he will not check through on the turn often at all. He is likely even to semi-bluff if he does have a flush draw (which I considered less likely than an overpair like TT or JJ).

His play was fairly predictable and this play was based on that read. It would be a very questionable play without it.

EDIT: Oh, you deleted your post... not sure why, I thought it was a valid question, maybe others would benefit from it.
