THEY ACTUALLY TACKLE!
A few years ago I heard Joe Thiesmann make the comment that few defensive players actually tackle anymore, most effectively block people to the ground. Sounded stupid at first, but I started watching for it, and it's true! I can't teel you how many times I see a defensive player hit a guy, and never once make any attempt to wrap him up. I don't know if it's the highlight reel culture of the big hit that is the major influence here, but it drives me crazy every time I see it, especially from my vikings.... /images/graemlins/frown.gif
