Sorry to start another Tilt thread, but I'm just back from a (very profitable) trip to Turning Stone. I just read all the Tilt comments and have to agree that it was really bad, but unfortunately not funny-bad. I agree that the cheating casino owner and churlish floorman and stereotypical racist black thugs and amazing hands were ridiculous, but no one mentioned the thing that struck me as the most absurd -- the satellite for the faux-WSOP. There were at least 4 tables (I don't remember exactly how many), buy-in was $1000, and they were giving away ONE $10,000 seat? I realize that the casino was corrupt, but that's still one hell of a vig!!

Are you sure the buyin was $1000? Maybe it was $100. It was obviously a double shootout.

I'm pretty sure it was $1000 because when the black guy got mad at the pretty boy for chip dumping, he said something like he lost a grand on that. I don't remember if it was a double shootout or not (which would make more sense if the buyin was $100)...

Maybe it was one seat per table? I dunno, I didn't watch it.

After the first episode I am not holding my breath for a lot of accuracy.

I'm positive it was a double shootout. Yeah, I wouldn't be looking for too much accuracy anyway.

He said, "you cost me a 'c' . . . " when he playmaker'ed the dude. I'm pretty sure it was $100, double-shootout . . .

Then again, I watched it so I'm obviously retarded, it could have been 'g' . . .

You sure he didn't say SEAT?

He most definitely said "seat" not "c". Or "g".
