Fresh report from Foxboro (called a friend), crisp cold (28 degrees), light wind (10MPH). Possible snow showers by half-time.

Will it be a shoot out? Ball control?

Yard predictions for Manning? Yard predictions for Dillon?

Hero of the game: Teddy Bruschi.

Did you see Bellichek answering questions in reference to this in a press conference? Pretty funny.

If anyone can stop Manning and the Colts (it happened several times this season, it has happened for Manning's whole career), it is Bellichek and Brady. I think the Patriot have to be the pick.

Because I saw like 4 first down passes in a row. THey finally started throwing to their wide recievers. It looked like they were driving down as they have done so many times this season, and I was hoping for a TD, as we've seen so many times. As for interceptions that lose games....that'll be the second half, if at all.

Good game Pats. I think the weather really hurt the Colts Offense. I don't understand why the Colts ran as much as they did, when it was clear how ineffective their backfield was. I don't know why they waited so long to throw to their WR's down the field and test the Pats secondary (if they ever did that). I underestimated the Pats team overall. The Colts have run the ball 14 times and passed it 29 times.

Edgerrin James is the only Colts player getting anything done offensively. He's got 92 yards from scrimmage. More importantly, the play action they run from him is the only thing giving the Patriots any problems.

Right. How many of those are recieving yards? The 14 rushes netted how many?

I dunno about the run/pass mix, but every time I saw it handed off to Edge he was tackled at the line. (EDIT: I'm sure the mix after the Q1 and into the second quarter included many more runs. At this point that number will be skewed further, but it doesn't matter.) When I think of the games I saw the Colts dominate, they involved lots of deep and mid range passes to their 3 star WRs. I saw almost none of that today. With the depleted Pats secondary, I cannot imagine why they didn't try harder to exploit this.

The Colts defenese looked good in the first half. But, the Patriots have dominated them in the second half. They've simply worn them down.

Manning will get an unlimited barage of "choke" comments thrown at him after today's game (assuming the Colts don't make a big comeback). But, the Patriots defnense deserves the credit rther than Manning deserving the blame.

I don't blame the Colts' D at all, but neither do I blame Manning. His throws were accurate, and he made good decisions throughout the game. Nobody got open, and his receivers uncharacteristically dropped a lot of passes.

Give absalute credit to the Patriots. Dominating defensive performance against the best offence in the NFL's recent past. Congrats.
