anyone recommend these? malmuth has 3 volumes of poker essays and sklansky has one "sklansky on poker."
Should I donate more money to big poppa sklanks-dawg?

sklansky on poker has 3 sections, the last of which adresses razz. if you are looking to learn razz, then this book along with Super Systems section on the game are required reading. Otherwise, the three other sections in SoP and the three malmuth books are a bunch of essays that are thought provoking and short which makes them decent bathroom reads. If you are interested in a book like this, it is my humble opinion that ciaffone's improve your poker contains better content than the other 4 books previously mentioned.

Haven't read Ciafonne or the Sklansky on Poker essays.
I liked the Malmuth essays books a lot though. They are mostly reprints of his old card-player columns. It's not exactly 'required' reading in order to become a winning player...but there was enough in there to jog my brain a bit and give me some good ideas.

His hand example essays where he goes through and explains his thought-process on various rounds are very interesting imo.
