I just moved to a new table so not much in the way of reads. I've only seen three hands, and the chip leader raised and took down the pot PF to 100 in 2 of the 3 hands. MP folded all 3 hands.

Blinds are 15/30. Chip leader in EP has 3500 chips, and opens for 100. MP (1800 chips) calls. I'm on the button with JJ. I decide to push.

Still 500 people left, top 60 gets paid.

Good/Bad push? Should I have played it for set/overpair value?

Results:
EP re-raises all in. MP folds. EP shows KK, hits K on the flop. I was unable to hit runner runner four-of-a-kind, and promptly shown the door.

I thought I put that in. I had 900 chips, so everyone had me covered and could afford a coin flip.

I decided to push because I felt there was a good chance I could pick up the 250 in the pot right there. If I did get called, it would probably be a coin flip. With so many more people to go, I decided to take a chance.

I would have just made a normal raise to around 350. If overcards hit the flop (especially an A) without a J, you can get away from the hand and still have enough chips to play.
