This is a must-raise preflop, to force the dead money out and take control, possibly getting it down to two players (you and the early limper).

Then, I bet the flop and turn, and check the river as you did. Take the pot.

I agree with TPS raising preflop is better especially since the cutoff posted. I would bet the river though, his most likely hand is a 7 and a lot of players will play it off for one more on the end.

Thanks.. I'm mostly a nl player, and when I play limit online, it's usually 2/4 or 3/6. I was freerolling on the night and a little tipsy. Looking forward to posting here again when I have the roll to play these games. Still working on the whole "raise when it makes you money" thing. /images/graemlins/blush.gif
