Hi guys, I've been checking out this forum from time to time about specific points in my game and it has been a great help. I haven't had any big enough problems where I felt like I need to make a post seeking out the great council of shorthanded's advice.

I beat the 5/10 for 2.95 BB / 100 over 30k hands. Of course, I believe I was on a little bit of a good run and that my true win rate is something closer to 2 BB / 100. Naturally, I moved up to the 10/20 when my bankroll reached a comfortable 10k. I am down 150 BB spread over 2 accounts for 15k hands and am finding myself becoming ever more uncomfortable at the limit. I know that I am on a bad run but I also know that I have some leaks.

I need the advice of the council on the following statistics.

I have 2 accounts that I cannot alias together for some reason so I'll just post the account with more hands.

Total Hands: 9598

Flop: 3.63
Turn: 3.39
River: 1.73

Folded To River Bet: 33.42%

Check Raise: 1.4% of possible actions

Position Stats:
---------------
Button: 0.17 BB / 100
CO: 0.10 BB / 100
MP: 0.11 BB / 100
UTG: 0.09 BB / 100
BB: -0.25 BB / 100
SB: -0.11 BB / 100

I have some pretty good ideas what my leaks are but I want them to be confirmed by some of you guys before I start discussing them. I understand that this is a relatively small sample size to work with but please do your best to comment.

30K hands isnt enough to say you were crushing the 5/10 game

ditto. My first 35K hands at 5/10 i was at 4.5/100. My last 60K hands have been SIGNIFICANTLY lower, dropping my winrate a ton.

You've probably reoponed wholes. Your PFR should not be that high with a blind steal of 35%. You should probably review the preflop chart from this site, and see if you are raising some hands you shouldn't be, and see if you are being a litte too loose. This should help bring down your VPIP a bit too, which couldn't hurt! You W$SD is very low. This is probably one of your bigger problems. You probably can't called down the kind of hands you would've in 5/10. You've also got to start paying much more attention to who your opponents are and then adjust your play accordingly.

You are definitely going to the showndown too much. And obviously not with good reason because you WSD is not good. 35% is too much to see the showndwo; you have to be able to better recognize when your hands have potential and when they are beat.

You should start posting a lot of hands, and reading a lot of other peoples hand posts. Go over the preflop charts, start thinking more when you play (cut down on too many tables if you are doing this). You obviously have the potential to play well, but it appears that you have reoponed some wholes you may have had closed. Reevaluate your game, and increase your sample size.

This advice is no more than my opinion,

Adam
