Keep going, there's a bunch of possible straight and flush draws that didn't hit. You don't want one of them to try a bluff here.

Does this mean you would fold to a river bet if you checked? I think that's awful.

Why would a whiffed draw trying to bluff be a bad thing unless you were intending to fold? As you move up in limits this play becomes really really important. Getting maximum value on the river does not always mean betting.

If you're going to call a bet why is it bad for them to bluff?
