I don't see a spot where I would have given up. If he had the 5, I'd be paying maximum $ to lose that like you. We'll see if we're wrong with other replies, but I don't think so at this point.

Did you ever stop to think that he might have a 5??? A post flop aggro of 1.3 isn't very high. Yours and mine are much higher, and would we be doing this with just a jack???
He ain't scared of the ace when he raises the river.

I thought of that. My question is where is it correct to slow down? River? And what is the correct move?
