On the bubble in a Party Step4 (top 4 get spots in a step5, 5th gets a redo).

What's your move here?

Shrugs and calls since you're not going to be able to outfold anyone else and are playing UTG HU the next hand anyway.

If UTG and SB switched stack sizes it'd be much closer.

Though it is a bubble situation in a satellite, I think this is a definite call. You have a 33-40% chance of ending the tournament right there, and you have the odds to call. The only possible detriment that must be taken into consideration is your stack size, which will be 1200 if you call. Since the SB has less than you, and the blind is coming up for him, I think that calling is the best play.

Since you have already posted the BB, you'll be getting better than 2:1 pot odds and you'll be calling off about 1/3 of your stack (depending on whether the blinds have already been posted or not). So, according to that rule, it's clearly a call.
