I am struggling with the flop 3 bet. With so many scare cards that could come on the turn, is your pot equity greater than 20% ?

I am not saying the flop 3 bet is wrong, just want to understand why it makes sense here.

I'm just as confused about this hand as you are, although i probably would have played it the same way. With no one playing back at you on the turn, i would imagine that your opponents put you on something like AA - QQ. I would probably check/call river because of the chance that someone has a Q or slowplayed straight on turn.

Because he has the best hand most of the time and wants to make his opponents pay through the nose to continue drawing to 6 outs if they indeed only have over cards.
