Before I was into poker, 95% of my online time was dedicated to Battlefield 1942, where I ran a very prominent team for about 18 months.

I know there has to be other 2+2ers who have been competitive computer gamers in either counter-strike or something...

I've never been able to get into war games. I play Links 2003 (a golf game) competetively. I'm ranked 20th out of about 800.

For CS I was in CAL-I and went to CPL in Summer 03. I spent way too much time playing that game...

Good times...

Jake,
You can't possibly be serious about this LOL. I can't remember where but I just saw a RPS championship on TV. It was hilarious and the final lasted all of 5 minutes heh.

The funniest thing was that the announcer was calling the contestants "athletes". heh

I played up to Cal-M in Counter-Strike with a clan. I then started school at Pitt but our dorm connections were crap and I had to quit. They eventually moved onto I but this was a couple years ago and I'm back to slightly above noob status on CS.

It's amasing how much your skills go up shits creek without a paddle when you don't play for 2 years.

Meaning what?

I was deep into clanning for a long time, and I would estimate that there maybe 5-10 Quake players world wide actually making a profit from the game. Is he really one of those?
