Question 1. Why is a cop going into a game he knows is crooked and he has no jurisdiction?

2. Why does he feel he was cheated in his cracked set hand?

3. What does the hooker do while she's waiting to blow somebody in the bathroom?

4. What if the Matador just had to take a dump? Does she wait in the bathroom or outside?

5. If she waits outside, does she have to go back in immediately afterwards or can she wait for things to air out a bit?

This show is confusing as hell. Implausible. Completely lacking in plause.

becuase he is a sick gambler who thinks he is the best that's ever been. Does that sound implausible to you?

2. Why does he feel he was cheated in his cracked set hand?

Becuase he lost his ass and needs something to blame. Does this sound implausible to you?

3. What does the hooker do while she's waiting to blow somebody in the bathroom?

She waits. Hookers will do that if you pay them. Does this sound implausible to you?

She does whatever the fck The Matador tells her to do.

Who cares? Besides The Matador's [censored] don't stink. And if it did you wouldn't be the one to tell him.

It's not the show's fault.

His brother sued the casino, famously. I think he lost the suit and got whacked, or whatever. ("go back to your family, what's left of it, while you still can"). Cop wants to expose it for revenge. So he sets himself up to be cheated. Maybe he wasn't even sure his brother was telling the truth until it happened to him. He then reviews the tape and compared how his brother described the cheating methods to what he observed in the game.

A very good explanation for Question 1. and Question 2.

I will try the rest.

3. What does the hooker do while she's waiting to blow somebody in the bathroom?

She waits. That is her job. She is a professional.

4. What if the Matador just had to take a dump? Does she wait in the bathroom or outside?

She waits where ever she is told to wait. That is her job. She is a professional.

5. If she waits outside, does she have to go back in immediately afterwards or can she wait for things to air out a bit?

She goes in immediately afterwards and performs wiping duties. What the hell do you think she is getting paid for?

Yeah but...

If he set himself up to be cheated, why is he so upset about it?

He pretty clearly wasn't cheated, so there isn't much to expose.

The man, in addition to be very creepy-looking, is clearly a cowboy, a rogue cop, a loose cannon, making his own rules, and writing checks his body can't cash. Never saw that on TV before.

I bet it does if he ate chili.

He was busy checking his restroom to see if it had hookers.

I watched the version where he checks the flop with a set after Madsen's table talk and gets drawn out on, then misses his redraw.

If The Matador has to take a dump, the hooker will give him a blumpkin.

I'm gonna guess that the brother was found dead from an apparent suicide, and the circumstances were suspicious. Lets see if I'm right.

Yeah if it takes 9000 bucks to wipe him...

considering the 100 dollar bill is the largest, that would be 90 different bills (each roughly the size of a toilet paper square). That must be some vicious pooping.

He must bunch instead of fold. It's hard to bunch 100's for wiping, they arent the right shape and they aren't connected together like TP.

I watched a show that established how they cheat using team play to trap a fish between two players. Then they showed a heads-up sequence with no team play possible, and still the cop is convinced he was cheated (plot conveniance theatre presents...). And he must have been, because Villains spent the rest of the show erasing tapes and acting all concerned about it.

So why didn't they setup the seen by showing the brother explaining how they cold deck a guy to give him a good hand? I guess they just wanted to be extra confusing.

This was one of the most poorly written series debuts I've ever seen. First they give four (4!) protagonists the exact same motivation (revenge). Then they take every bit of mystery away from their characters with the most ridiculous dialog ("it was like ninja's doing me from behind" do Ninja's anally rape their victims?) to explain how they got there (instead of giving the audience a little credit for being willing to wait a few shows to find out).

And the Matador, the guy who cheated them, doesn't recognize when they spend all day at his casino. Of course, it's hard to recognize the woman you cheated as a little girl, esp. since she still hasn't rebuilt her bankroll, in the 20 YEARS SINCE!

Even better is the Matador is trying to screw over LowBall, the one guy keeping him out of jail by erasing tapes.

They had TJ and Daniel Negraneu and didn't even use them to add realism to their scenes. Every scene was poorly shot, making it difficult to follow hands and action. They also did a poor job of explaining poker amd the poker lifestyle. There are so many better stories to do in real life.

I'd rather watch characters based on Dynasty or Howard Lederer than these paper cut outs they created.

These guys did rounders? Really?

I will agree with this - there are so many real stories and characters they could have based a poker series on.
