For all of you SSHE disciples - how would you have played the flop in the following scenario:

.25/.50 limit at UB - I'm on the button with 77. Villain is MP2.

PF - Villain bets, MP3 calls, CO calls and button (Hero) calls.

Flop comes: K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 3 /images/graemlins/club.gif

Villain bets, MP3 folds, CO calls, Hero - ?????

Fold without a good read.

What's the pot size? Without sufficient pot odds to get your 2-outer, this is an easy fold.

Small pot, no reads, easy fold.

Thanks all for reinforcing my play. I did fold, but I had a couple of hands last night where I folded and had I bet backdoor str8's/flushes, I would have won some nice size pots. Since I lost a little last night (and I HATE to lose), I started questioning whether or not I was aggressive enough.

In this hand, a 7 fell on the river and at the time I questioned whether or not I should have stayed in. You all just reinforced that it was the right play, considering the pot size and my pot and implied odds.

Getting 7.5:2 I would think about folding it preflop... any thoughts?

You are going to see that kind of thing all the time.

Yyou fold a 35sooted and the flop comes 246 of your suit. I had a 250 hand session last night where I walked away with a positive 1BB (and thankful for it lol) Had a set of J's busted by a set of K's etc. etc.

You already know the key, make your plays when you have the best of it and not be results oriented /images/graemlins/smile.gif Good Luck!

Easy call pre-flop, implied odds and position will pay off well when he hits.
