Thinking I want some interesting jazz/fusion/dance type music for my computer while playing. Who should I look for?

What the hell...I have no idea what kind of music you are asking for...

I know next to nothing about jazz or fusion, but if you want some dance music, you can get Basement Jaxx's Kish Kash which is VG, or Annie's Anniemal which is in the Kylie Minogue vein...

Junior Senior is also good...

I dunno, I was listening to Freddie Hubbard's "Red Clay," which is an upbeat fusion track, still more to the jazz end of the spectrum I guess. I really just want something with interesting beats, bass, instruments, etc.

M.i.l.k. is good. So is DJ Jean. That may not be what you are looking for though.

I have no idea what you are asking for, I don't know about "dance" music, but as far as the jazz part goes, get all the charlie parker and dizzy gillespie you can.

Roy Ayers is the master. Less dancy more acid jazz though.

Is that DJ Jean of "The Launch" fame? Cracking tune.

"get some Red Snapper. You won't regret it. "

There's a blast from the past. There's an early Red Snapper tune - I think it's either called simply "Red Snapper" or "Snapper" - that is unbelievably good. Or at least it was when I was 16.
