Does anyone not lay down KK here?

Hero is on the button, and the big stack with about 3200.

Blinds are 50/100.

2 limpers, hero raises to 400.

BB calls, both limpers call.

Flop comes A J 7 - 2 spades. Hero has no spade.

BB goes all in for about 1,100. first limper calls for about 950. 2nd limper calls leaving himself with 135.

Does anyone not fold Kings with an A on the board and 3 all ins?

easiest call, so what if there is an ace and 3 callers all in

You have to be behind at least one of them.

Yeah, right. I'm sure I'll be seeing you at a final table soon.

I hope he was being sarcastic. There are slightly easier laydowns (AJ2 all spades) but this is pretty high on the list of easy ones.

Pretty obvious what's going on here: BB is doing a stop-n-go or bluffing since it's unlikely that anyone left to act has an ace. The first limper has a flush draw (obv) and the second limper is keeping him honest with second pair and is very likely to fold for his last 135 when you go allin, representing a set. Plus if limper 2 calls your allin, you're lookin pretty fine for a nice sidepot.

I don't think it's ever correct to lay down KK here unless you are by far the greatest player in the world (like better than Barry Greenstein and Phil Ivey combined). No-brainer call, sorry.

the problem is, only phil greenstein could have made that read exactly like you did. kinda like the guy on tilt last night, x-raying through that guys cards to just know that he had the 66.

so if you're that good, it's an easy call. and if you aren't that good, you have to call also?

wuh?

Why are you even posting this? I say your only slightly ahead maybe 1 out of 20 times.

Lets go for the straight math of the situation.

1100 into a 4500 pot or ~1:4 pot odds

You have to have approximately 5 outs to make this correct. Because one of the guy has to have an A.

Easy fold. Period.

Maybe it's cause I haven't played enough - only about the last 18 months,

But I can't recall a time I ever hit the fold button so quickly on the flop with KK.

I have folded KK on the flop before - but I don't think it's usually this cut and dry.

Ok, what do you think your ahead of? You think they all have flush draws? Plus if someone has AxKs, your drawing for a 1 outer. Most likely one of these people has your Ks, and some sucker has A2 off.

One time I had 27o and the entire table pushed all in. I think I'm supposed to fold there, but the pot odds were so good.

I think you should have raised with 72.

You're possibly not looking at it the right way.

How often do you fold second highest pair?
