I know that my VPIP is high, but it is going down...as it is 17 and change on my most current 2k hands

What's your secret?

01-14-2005, 12:15 AM
I dont have a secret, I am just wondering about the stats, I know the BB/100 is too high to keep up in long term, but the other stats I am wondering if anyone has any input as to what I should aim for

i'd like to see pfr above 10; what are your postflop aggression numbers?

mandatory annoying statement: SAMPLE SIZE TOO SMALL!

I know /images/graemlins/smile.gif, but 4k isnt to bad, 10k is the minimum though right.

10% pfr really, that seems kinda high

i am about 1.6 flop
2.8 turn
1.9 river

I check raise alot on the turn if I hit something

First thing that comes to mind is that you should increase the pfr. Shoot for at least 7, but i think between 7.5 and 9 is ideal for pp 2/4.

Yeah your VPIP is outrageous ... I'd recommend lowering it from 17-20 to around the 6-9 range.

One question I have about limit is what to do with low pocket pairs in late position, is that a raise, and then do I follow through even I i dont hit on the flop?

Also what about mid-high suited connectors like JQ and J10 in late position, is that a raise also?

edtost

low pocket pairs if you can get it heads up, jts and the like if there are lots of limpers. though i suppose that if everyone limps to you on the button, small pp's are a value raise too.

Typically, no set no bet. It's all situational though.

loser do you play 2/4 also, and should stats change depending on game?

Loser

sorry, yes those are from 2/4 and stats are very table dependent.

Clearly the worst content I've seen in a while.

All this, "I've been making over 7 BB/100 over my last 758 hands... is that good?"

No I play on different accounts according to bonuses...just wanted to know what I should shoot for, no a brag post

6%-9% - seems a bit too tight. Is that a typical number for 2+2'ers @ the $2/$4 level?

OMG I just played 4 hands at Party, can anyone tell me if these stats are good?

Hands 4
VP$IP - 25.00%
VP$IP SB - 0.00%
Folded SB to Steal - 0.00%
Folded BB to Steal - 0.00%
Steal Att - 0.00%
Won $ WSF - 100.00%
Went to SD - 100.00%
Won $ at SD - 100.00%
PF Raise - 0.00%
BB/100- 125

I know my VP$IP is high, but I think my Won $ WSF and Won $ at SD %'s show that I play very well after the flop and I think I maybe be able to sustain my 125BB/100 win rate even with a VP$IP of 25%. What do you guys think?

PS: I know I need to start trying to steal the blinds more!

With this win rate you should move up to higher limits!!

Rah

Wow, with that high winrate you must have excellent postflop play. You could probably raise your VPIP so you can outplay the entire field on more flops.

You know you can link all these accounts by setting up alias's on PT

[/ QUOTE ]

No, 14-22% is where you'll find the 2+2'ers, with the vast majority in the 14-18 range. (Personally I don't understand how anyone can find 22% of their hands playable, but several 2+2'ers are in that range.)

For what it's worth I played 17% of my hands at 2/4 and raised 10%.
