How do you guys play AK when the blinds hit 25/50 on Party? The problem is when someone raises 150/200, I feel obligated to push (usually my stack is ~800 by this time). The problem with that line is that people raising on Level 3 usually raise with pocket pairs 99+ and will call you.

So is pushing still the best play? Is it the only play?

Yes pushing looks fine to me. What is your alternatives? Calling? Then what do you do when you don't hit anything on the flop? If you hit the flop are you sure you will get paid? Also is it clear that the raiser should call, if he has a lowish pocket pair? He does not know if you have overcards(usually ak), or an higher pocket pair. So a lot of the time your opponent will fold i think.

I sometimes might think of calling. But to meet this, a few other things need to be true:
1. blinds does not increase anytime soon. 1st hand of 25/50 best.
2. The raiser is tight and from early positions.
3. calling raise leave me well above 10bb.

Pushing any time with AK is not far from correct. /images/graemlins/cool.gif
