Should I have led at the flop?

Check/call the flop, other than that nice hand.

No. This looks like the land of check-fold. 66 won't win and the odds of improving aren't good enough to call. Small pot. Let it go.

I think you missed the fact that he has 6.5 outs against 5 opponents...

You're right. I had given 3-4 for the 6's and the backdoors. I'd missed the 7's. Is that where you're going?

Yes. He has 5 outs to improve to 2pair or better. He has 1.5 outs for the backdoor flush. I missed it the first go 'round but he also has a backdoor straight. He should definetly continue.
