First hand history from me here at 2+2! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
New to the table, no real good reads at this point.

PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

MP1 ($3.85)

MP3 ($18.25)
CO ($25)
Button ($11.10)
SB ($11.30)
BB ($21.90)
UTG ($26.55)
UTG+1 ($31.95)
UTG+2 ($21.60)

Preflop:
UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 calls $0.25, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, <font color="#CC3333">Caruso329 raises to $2.25</font>, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls $2, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds, VILLAIN calls $1.75, MP1 folds.

Flop: ($7.10) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
VILLAIN checks, <font color="#CC3333">HERO bets $5</font>, Button folds, <font color="#CC3333">VILLAIN raises $5</font>, HERO folds.

Was my fold to his min. check/raise correct?

I'm having trouble determining who the villian is and what his stack size is. But I think it should be a crime to fold here. You have a high diamond and an over pair with a baby board. The only thing that makes sense that beats you is a made flush and a portion of the time you will redraw to beat that flush.

I think Ak with either A of diamonds or K or diamonds is pretty close too.

VILLAIN is UTG+1, sorry, but that was my first time using the converter too and I edited it and it messed up.

I think now that he might have just had the A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, and looking back the correct move would have been a push IMO. Anyone agree? (Wish I went with my gut, but at the time, I thought he already had the flush made)

I think pushing is the correct play. Villain is UTG+1 with EST $30, and can have a lot of hands he can beat. Such as a lone A or K diamond, Jacks with a diamond, a set of course but he's not worse than 2-1 here either.
